Thumbnails

 Creating the first thumbnail ideas.

As is my usual fashion of thumbnails, its hard for others to make out what they are but it makes sense to me!
I had a talk with Molly and Sarah after these initial ideas and we agreed that the more detailed ideas don't work as well for the editorial cover because they aren't to the point enough. I want to focus on symbolising the idea in a very clear and instant way . They could work better for spot illustrations. The images with scale are working well and shows very instantly the magnitude of the issue. I also like the one where the soldiers head is cut off, as if he has no identity. 

I now need to explore these ideas further.
